Fairly calm conditions overall--even with Amplitude [electric-side], delivering a series of deep spikes. The most recent spike (12 Aug @18LT) was 39dB of pico electron-Volts. That's read: 0.0000000000039 electron-Volts.
Di-urnal variations is the complex word meaning: the varying conditions of the atmosphere, depending on time of day, the season, solar cycle, etc; which gives a wave-like quality to the daily readings.
The standard model is that the direct solar link with the sun, the IMF (Inter-planetary magnetic field) is the Magnetopause, the magnetosphere which includes the ionosphere. There's a magnetic-plasma link between Earth, and the Sun. This incoming charged plasma is held in check by the innate telluric currents of the planetary geo-power grid.
This is the primary DC (direct current) circuit of the SR, and the telluric currents of the planetary sphere. This plasma gets stored in the upper atmosphere above the planet as electric-side energy, which is Voltage.
The Ionosphere acts as a filter, and a sponge to the high voltage plasma that comes from the sun. Plasma discharge is actually rarified in the filter of the upper atmosphere.
Earth's planetary body Herself has power, or current running through the rocks, water, air, etc. Geo-power is conducted North-South, or East-West. Many of the systems of the planet are powered through the currents cycling from one pole to opposition.
There's alot of chatter about the SR rising, based on the chart graphic of the amplitude peaks. It's important to know what the antenna is actually reading, relative to the activity in the atmosphere. The reported information on the spectrogram is the combination of reports from the antennae: di-pole electric-side of Amplitude and magnetic induction coils of the Quality-side of the dependency reports.
This is a very technical, scientific report. This is not presented in the "consumer electronics" easy-to-read format of, say for example, a television, where it needs to be "intuitive"--because many people won't/can't read the instructions*. The proper interpretation of the spectrogram is not intuitive. One doesn't grasp the true picture, through the unaided observation of the SR spectrogram.
(*More to the point, these days, all instructions heavily featured graphics/technical renderings, in order to explain how to build anything.)
The "intuitive readings" of the SR spectrogram is likely to unearth a HUGE Pandora's box of bizarre connections to all sorts of fringe, cult or esoteric "revelationings." Feel free to believe whatever you want; but not at the veracity of the technical data.
Part of the job here as the Technician is to explain the physical constraints of the measuring equipment. As I have stated previously, it is difficult-enough to properly learn the atmospheric electro-magnetics through explaining the standard model. Through the means of using the spectrogram, it's nearly impossible to properly explain Schumann resonances: the novice sees the amplitude spikes, and without knowing better, believes those to be integral to the actual Resonances. Understanding the proper role and work of the detecting equipment provides necessary constraints in understanding the atmospheric emf.
It's fine-enough that you might believe the SR is rising...however, it's not fine to use the graphs to show this claim, when that's not what the detectors are showing the observer.
Schumann resonances are the stable "hum" at ~7.8/~14.4/~21.7/~27.1/~33.3 Hertz. These frequencies will remain stable. Resonances are standing waves, caused by the interactions of fundamental waves crashing against each other. It is the difference between these originating frequencies that gives you the 7.8Hz etc.
Schumann resonances are not rising. They are not ever rising. If they started to rise, you would not be looking at the resonances. Through misreading the charts, swapping amplitude power as a frequency, you would have done the impossible. In other words, through misreading and misinterprating the data, you could the goal you seek, of rising atmospheric resonances.
