06-8 May 2021. Observations on Tomsk, Russia (S.O.S.)

Observations:

08 May 2021. Peaks (mode-synchronous) up to 110dB [A1/white] 12-15LT (local time); overall plateau from 10-19. This is merely a repetition of the pattern of diurnal variation in Tomsk.

[A2/yellow] @ 47(-dBpev); 100% of the scope. [A3/red] @ 31(-dBpeV); 100% of scope. [A4/green] 21(-dBpeV) @ 100% of scope.

Quality/magnetics, showing active during our daytime bursts.

Solar sensors showing we took a hit to the nighttime side of the planet. Direct hits can cause damage from the DC circuit. Solar radiance also can effect us at the side, not directly facing the blast. Solar ejecta spreads-out, as it leaves the sun.

We are still eligible to be effected from CMEs, even though not a direct hit.

This stated, the overwhelming majority of SR activity is due to solar compressions on the ionosphere. SR happen in the waveguide between the Ionosphere, and the Earth's surface. The ionosphere serves to block, and dissipate much of the solar radiance that Earth receives.

The main origination of SR is lightning discharges. SR might be seen as the echoes lightning. Solar outbursts do not, of necessity, cause the amplitude spikes shown on the spectrogram.

07May. Peaks up to 88dB. Large plateau from 06-20LT.

06May . The real-time stream was buffering. This means there is currently not a running signal from Tomsk. There's numerous moving parts involved in sending a good signal from Tomsk, to the server you're acessing this through.

Days like this are a good example to show the actual Resonances.

Amplitude is quiet; about as close to flat-lining at it's going to get.

The work on the chart today is from Quality, and Frequency, which are related.

Interesting activity, and spikes of magnetism, as Quality. Generally we expect Quality to follow Amplitude, yet, this is not absolute.

Quality, is the magnetic waves which travel around the globe, converting (degrading) electrics into magnetics. One of my principles is that I expect to see magnetic activity, after amplitude bursts. This might be a great example of this principle here.

This one here started at 22 LT; which essentially starts as the amplitude plateau peters-out.

We see the 11LT activity peak, not of amplitude necessarily; but this time of magnetism. Q1(white) hit 16 pT. Q4(green) hit 8.6

We might expect more magnetics during the nighttime side readings (from 20LT to 08LT)

Frequency is the standard manner of measuring radio waves: in kilometers of the peaks.

The dependency of frequency is peak-to-peak measurement in units of kilometers; or closer to thousand-kilometer size.
