During the daytime, the ionosphere tightens-up, and the Intensity increases. There is a di-urnal variation between daytime, and nighttime readings of the graphs, as a result.

Top panel is the spectrogram, which is the composite plotting of the dependencies of Amplitude, Quality, Frequency, which appear below in this capture.

White coloring on the graph represents MODE 1.

Schumann Resonances signals are measured by a system of Modes, to arrive at the images on the spectrogram.

Technically, the modes are an inverse measuring tool which constrains a size and shape of measurable information, to allow a geometry to be plotted in the scope machinery. Mode is the relative measurement between the two components of the electric-side, the voltage, which is like a flag-pole; along with it's constituent horizontal component of the magnetic flux, which is a wave function.

The Amplitude [A], and the Quality [Q] are inversely related. Amplitude is charge (+/-); also called the vertical conductivity channel of the voltage; which is generally moving from high to low. The lowest charge potential being the Ground herself. Quality is current, with is a direction, N-S/E-W.

A Mode is a mathematical model of a certain shape and size wave. Ideally, you will want to match up the white colors on the spectrogram, with the line graphs below, to see the actual measured value. The Spectrogram is a scaled version of the actual number values given in the dependencies below.

All amplitude spikes shown in the spectrogram look big because it's scaled to fit the available space of the scope itself.

Amplitude is the electric-side of the signal, which is the voltage, as measured in deci-Bels of pico-electron-Volts.

Quality is Magnetic flux, as measured in pico-Teslas.

Frequency is the peak-to-peak measure of the originating waves.

In the case of our Mode 1 Peak, we hit around 67. This is an intensity number, not a frequency number.
